Brief Desription:
Azarhan Barracas is known as somewhat of a champion of Nam’ta’s alien minority, and one of President Ralter’s most outspoken critics. His clan has lived within the borders of the small Confederacy for nearly three centuries, having originally fled to the Nam’ta system following the devastation of Cathar during the Mandalorian Wars. Over the generations, the Barracas family carved out a legacy of industrial success, building a powerful economic base on the labor of Nam’ta’s often-overlooked alien populations.

Today, nearly half of all alien laborers within the Confederacy find employment in the vast facilities of the Barracas-Incorporated industrial conglomerate, giving Azarhan not only wealth, but a deeply loyal support base.
It was this base—primarily alien and pro-Republic—that allowed him to secure a seat in the Confederate Council of Representatives. For years he stood as one of the last remaining voices of the Republic in a political arena increasingly dominated by pro-Imperial sentiment. Barracas was a vocal opponent of the controversial Imperial security treaty that would ultimately end the Confederacy’s official neutrality.

The treaty, requiring a unanimous vote, was passed under suspicious circumstances after Barracas was hospitalized by a sudden and violent illness in the days leading up to the vote. During his absence, his Vice-Representative—since dismissed—attended the Council in his stead and voted in favor of the treaty.
News of this betrayal allegedly sent Azarhan into a furious fit, leading to a now-famous incident in which the Representative stormed out of his hospital, tore out his IVs, and dismissed his subordinate on the same day—still wearing his hospital gown. His recovery was reportedly accelerated upon his return to his family estate, prompting some supporters to accuse the Empire of poisoning him.

No concrete evidence has ever been produced to support this claim.

Since then, the story of Azarhan Barracas has taken a radical turn. As the Confederacy collapsed into civil war, Barracas emerged as one of the most prominent leaders of the Rebel movement, transforming from a political dissident into a fully-fledged corporate warlord.
Rallying pro-Republic militias, alien-rights groups, and defected Confederate units under his banner, Barracas led a sweeping fighting retreet campaign across Nam’ta Prime and Nam'ta Secunds, quickly becoming the foremost commander on the Republic side of the conflict.

Following the withdrawal of the Republic Navy from the system, Barracas was formally hailed as Grand Marshal of Free Nam’ta, the de facto leader of the embattled of the Republic-aligned government now recognized in the Senate as a legitimate state in exile. As both its military commander and diplomatic representative, Barracas has become the face of the resistance.

With Governor Ralter’s decree of total annihilation for all rebel elements and sympathizers, Free Nam’ta has been forced to harden itself into a true nation—one that knows it must either conquer or be exterminated. There will be no clemency. This grim understanding has given rise to the official coat of arms of Free Nam’ta: a green Republic banner emblazoned with the words “Freedom or Death.”

Since the formalization of his government-in-exile, Grand Marshal Barracas has spared no time turning Free Nam’ta’s patchwork of cells, militias, and defectors into a unified fighting force. With the aid of Republic volunteers, military advisors, and a steady stream of intelligence and matériel, the Free Nam’ta Army has begun to function as a disciplined, coordinated, and increasingly capable resistance against the Imperial-backed regime and its corporate collaborators.
Azarhan Barracas now stands not only as a symbol of alien perseverance, but as the single most important figure in the fight for Nam’ta’s independence. A rebel commander, a political exile, and a wartime leader driven by the certainty that survival now hinges on victory alone.

The 46th Sarapin Division was formed in the wake of House Horuset's brutal campaign in the meta city-scape on the world of Orsus, fighting street for street to lay claim to its resources and integral position in keeping the Republic away from Serpindal. An elite group of highly skilled commandos, skirmishers and Sith killers. An ever-present thorn in the side of House Horuset, they have had a presence in most major deployments: Dropping thousands of Republic reinforcements during the Dubrillion Campaign, and personally taking the field in the battle for Anx Minor's resources. Even on Alsolun were they the main influencing force, subtly preparing a forward base for Republic Strikes - only to be undone by House Horuset once more.

Their latest presence was on Vykos, personally holding a key mountain range with Colonel Manel Scyles leading them and his 97th 'Cancellor Berooken' Shock Guard Brigade. The Horuset fleet suffered a blow to their ranks, but ultimately managed to break the naval blockcade, and take out the majority of the 97th Brigade alongside Colonel Scyles. This setback has seen the 46th Sarapin Division on a backfoot for the first time in years - though being heroes of Republic and veterans who has seen much loss, their very continued presence remains a constant threat.

Welcome to the revamped NPC forums - here you will find a list of non-player characters that have appeared in events or general rp, serving as a tool for GM's and potential GM's to pick from and include previous character names in new and original stories for Horuset. As the years have gone by HH have had multiple old faces that on ocassion are still refrenced, while others maybe got lost in the clutter and haven't been seen in years.

This revamp will serve to bring a more organized look to the NPC list, sorting them by factions instead of one list, while also oppening up the chance for our players to take over old NPC's if they wish to run storylines with them involved. And overall make our little corner of the galaxy feel more connected. Below here you'll find an overview of the categories!
Please use the template below to post a new NPC - we encourage using the in-game character creator to make a visual, though its not required and a description is fine. Do not use visual created or edited by A.I.
Anyone can use an NPC in the directory, though would-be storytellers and GM's should message the original owner of the NPC to use them in an upcoming event or story - then the owner and the storyteller can sort out the details.
Note, involving an NPC does not mean they have to make an appearance directly. Maybe you just need to NPC an imperial grunt from a Darth's powerbase, a member of a particular person's gang or maybe just want to use them as background fluff.
