Mission Report

Mission lead; Corporal C. Haldeen

The mission can be considered a success.
As we gathered in the Imperial Camp, Apprentice Viazma and Acolyte Araki decided to accompany us. Private Athun was not present.

At the start of the mission, we split up so both sides of a path going West were covered. I was leading Aurek with Corporal R. Miriadas, Private C. Cherea, Acolyte Aráki and Acolyte Sedoru with me. The latter two were allowed to carry Armor and Vibroswords.
Sgt. Kienix took Besh under his command with the rest.

We came upon a bridge we could by-pass, on which we saw a Imperial woman and a Weequai. They appeared to be flirting with each other. Odd, but we did not investigate this further. Though, it may be worth to keep an eye out.

We used no communication devices, but Acolyte Aráki and Apprentice Viazma on Aurek and Besh, were able to pass messages across trough telepathy. The planet offered us enough cover as it also started to rain, though we could spot smoke coming from two directions. From the North, beyond a wall and more smoke coming from the West, behind another wall with a hill. As we investigated the latter, in which I had send Apprentice Viazma first as she is able to use a SFG. Her SFG flickering gave away something jamming our signal.

Apprentice Viazma discovered a huge camp which the plumes of smoke came from. I will attach the coördinates.
Here, I used binoculars to make notes.

About 60 people were outside tents that were capable of hosting about 630 people. These people were disorganised, they looked a bit like a disaster, grunts with blue bands around their arms.
They had about 22 Starfighters, 8 drop-ships that I could see and one larger ship that could obstruct view on more ships.

Most important is, that we saw a big spike with a control panel, as well as a wire going North from it, disappearing in the ground. This thing would appear to be our objective.
We did not investigate the other plume of smoke and returned.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
