“A slaver vessel is scheduled to pass through a sector of space between Rydar II and Aralia along a known route. It carries cargo that is… of interest to me. Your task will be to intercept this ship before it reaches its destination. You will locate the vessel along its route, board it, and secure the cargo within. Once it is under your control, move it to transport shuttles prepared for extraction. After the cargo has been safely removed, the slaver vessel itself is to be destroyed. There is also additional value in what the vessel may carry besides its cargo. Records, manifests, communications, contacts. I want any information you can obtain. Learn who operates the ship, who they answer to, and who they trade with. The more you bring me.. the better."

Location: Sector of space between Rydar II and Aralia
OOC Location: Prefer some interior that resambles a cargo ship.. If possible

Primary Objective I:
Intercept the slaver vessel, board it, and secure the cargo. Transfer the cargo to transport shuttles and destroy the vessel afterward.

Secondary Objectives:
I: The aftermath must appear as the work of common bandits or raiders. Slaughter them however you like, but leave no trace behind.
II: Gather all available information aboard the ship. Records, communications, navigation logs, manifests, and any identifying details regarding the slavers operating it.

Timeframe: Till end of April.

Operation Waylay
Report

Participants: Sith Naneti (Team Leader), Apprentice Mharn, Apprentice Vulker

The operation began with all participants boarding Sith Naneti’s ship the ISS Vulture along with a dozen breacher marines provided by Apprentice Mharn. We arrived ahead of schedule at the designated interception point and set up an ambush for the vessel.

When the ship entered the system the crew of the ISS Vulture immediately managed to disable the vessel’s shields and before it could escape into hyperspace caught it in a tractor beam so the team and Apprentice Mharn’s marines could board the vessel.

Upon breaching the vessel, using boarding pods, the team were immediately ambushed by combat droids but managed to subdue them in short order, Sith Naneti and Apprentice Mharn went to the bridge to secure the command while Apprentice Vulker went to the cargo bay to secure the vessel’s cargo. Both groups engaged with blue heavily armoured mercenaries but dealt with them in short order.

All of the vessel’s data was secured with no immediate signs of tampering and the cargo was transferred over to the ISS Vulture without incident before the vessel was dealt with as laid out in the mission brief. No casualties to my knowledge were reported and a single corpse of one of the mercenaries was retrieved and the armour they were equipped with sent on to Apprentice Sah’sha for review. With this in mind I would suggest that all primary and secondary were completed as intended and laid out by Apprentice Sah'sha.
