Operation: Gather Currency

*Lord Andnoa would appear as a hologram for all who clicked his link.*

“We require illegal and untraceable funds to send to rebel groups within the Republic. You shall gather them by taking the money from the Republic Upper Class. It is known that in many worlds, illegal gambling among such degenerate beings is very common. You shall attend such a secret game on Lorrad and using your knowledge and skill, take them of all they are worth. ”

*Lord Andnoa would fade away again.*

Location: Lorrad
OOC Location: Any casino looking building. I suggest the posh bits of Hutta or Corellia are good shouts.

Dice game rules:
You are betting that the total that you roll of 3 d6 dice will be as close to 3 as possible. Every round starts with an input of 1000 credits by all players. You can put in another 1000 to reroll one of your dice once per round. At this point further bets are made on your dice being the best dice. If you do not match the bet of your foes, you are out for the round. At the end of the round, the dice are revealed the person with the closest score wins, or if there is a tie, both players roll 3d6 again until one is closer than the other.

You begin with 20,000 Lorradian Credits

Objectives:
Primary Objective I: Attend the illegal game and use the subtly to bring the game in your favor, robbing him of his stake
Primary Objective II: Be undetected as Sith. This is not just on the gambler but on the guards. They may need to distract NPCs or even use the force on the game themselves if the gambler comes under suspicion.
Primary Objective III: Make your escape before the law enforcement registers your presence.

Rewards:
A reward share of the money earnt. If you are an acolyte, Andnoa will hold it in escrow until you ascend then give it to you.

Time Frame: This isn't hugely time dependent so participants will have 2 months from the placing of the ops to conclude it.

Estimated Party Size: At least two, one gambler and one guard to look out for them. Three plus a GM is the max however as this will be a slightly complex event to run.

Reminder: Assets are NOT to be earned or taken in these, they are not meant to be for accumulating stuff. Maybe some money and little trophies might be gained but never anything large.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
