Report: Investigating the Jedi

I must preface this report by stating that whilst I had made Apprentice Nivalis aware of what you have said, my lord, after approaching them in an attempt to communicate about this, the Apprentice left to speak with other Sith. As a result, I chose to act alone not to waste time.

My investigation began at the medical bay in Garrison 1, where I inquired with the medical staff about any wounded personnel transferred from Garrison 2.  After receiving confirmation of no such arrivals, it became clear that I had to move towards Garrison 2 myself.

With permission granted by yourself, my lord, I thus boarded a shuttle accompanied by the escort you provided, comprising of:

• Private Stek
  
• Private Tezrak
  
• Private Simmena
  
• Sergeant Kilgore

Upon arrival, I made my way directly to the local medical bay, where I encountered Doctor Krave. She expressed open disdain, not only toward myself but also as proxy to House Horuset. According to her, our presence had introduced violence and suffering to Alsolun's population, given before she had only seen mining-related medical cases. Despite her hostility, she complied with my requests once I presented authorization granted, once more, by yourself, my lord.

With it, I acquired the patient logs where I spotted Sergeant Micah, a soldier I had personally rescued and saved during the recent droid battle. After reaffirming his loyalty, I showed him the drawing of our Spy. He immediately recognized in it Engineer Stephen, who he recounted was the split image of Private Kefa as well, both, according to him, Imperial transfers. The Sergeant also disclosed that the Engineers, in general, operated with a certain degree of independence that could've corroborated to the ease with which the Droids had been tampered with. NCO Tendar, tasked with overseeing them in Garrison 2 was killed during the attack, and was followed by Second Officer Jeff.

I thus proceeded towards the Communication Tower to meet the 2nd Officer and learn of Private Kefa's whereabouts, and on the way I sought to contact Private Bennu from the Alpine Committee, given they presented themselves as a communication officer to me. Alas such was a dead end for they had never interacted with the Private.

I walked into the Communication Tower undeterred, and promptly confronted Second Officer Jeff directly, applying deliberate dominance and clarity of purpose. They submitted without seeking further permission or clearance. Upon questioning about Private Kefa, they mentioned the Private had departed months ago, though their work was impeccable on the Tower, often working beyond usual shifts, voicing out displeasure when poked during that period of time. Such granted them also more free-time to use however they preferred.

I thus requested to see their work-station and to no surprise their terminal was damaged, though so were the others. Salvaging it required time that I did not have, so I requested to prioritize the recovery of communication logs, which gave out:

• Private Kefa took on duties of communicating from time to time and relaying weather reports from different places.
  
• Engineer Stephen taking over said duties in the last few weeks, providing and relaying official messages without any tampering, potentially a way not to draw suspicion and thus keep their cover.

With that, time had drawn short and I thus had to recollect my bearings and, with the provided imperial escort, boarded the shuttle to return to Garrison 1. As a result of the investigation, the culprit has been given a name and an associate of theirs has been exposed. As such, my suggestion on the matter would be to acquire the service records of them both, if possible, and the transfer records of Private Kefa in an effort to obtain a lead to follow.

My commendations go to Sergeant Micah, who has been of vital aid despite his state, bed-ridden, and Second Officer Jeff who has executed all that was asked of them without hostility shown.
