Mole Recovery

#1
[Image: Image1.png]

Mission Details

"In Phase I of Operation Stormline before landfall, Haeltor Maritime’s branch company on Pollus, Haeltor Haulers, had a mole inserted: An H.I.D agent modified through alchemical means to be an identical copy to their Head of Freights, Brakk Fen. The actual Brakk Fen was successfully kidnapped and the mole has acted as our informant since."

"The mole has secured a cache of restricted internal documents and shipping logs and requires extraction before its discovery. Travel to Pollus with the original Brakk Fen, extract the agent and arrange for Brakk Fen’s death to appear self-inflicted and easily findable."

Apprentice Kyrila Leiyr

Overview:

Embarking under a guise to the world of Pollus, we've encroached on the H.I.D Agent's location which was a run-of-the-mill cantina. Agent's presence has been confirmed via the lingering mark of the Dark Side left upon them, as we entered the facility. Apprentice Leiyr took on the overwatch role as she took over security room, while myself and Apprentice Ronith escorted real Brak Fenn inside proper.

Once we've managed to pinpoint the Agent's location, Apprentice Ronith took upon himself to remove whatever effects of the Force from him, while I took care of Fen. The work was relatively easy, as his mood was quite high at the prospect of serving the Empire. That became even more potent as I offered him a cordial drink in form of cheapest alcohol there is. As I've proposed a toast, I had Fen choked out through the Force. Applying gentle levels of pressure to make it look as he had a painful accident of choking on alcohol.

There was some mess left in his wake, as the man fell over a table and crashed it, but with more precise of application of the Force and convenient placing of bottle, it looks like Fen lost his footing while gargling for his life. His body was left in the VIP room where the Agent has awaited us with a cache, which we have successfully extracted. There were no witnesses, however, bar the cantina goers on a level below as the VIP area was virtually empty. As of any surveillance the H.I.D and Apprentice Leiyr made sure that none would have us in ther sights.

Though, we did work on a tight time window as once we've left the cantina, the PDF encroached on our position - with the agent and cargo secured, Fen's body left in an utmost inconspicuous spot
as our deployment came to a close.

Whatever the PDF might find on Fen, they'll be none the wiser as the deed can be considered completed successfully.

That is all.

Signed,
- Sith Zveris.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
