OOC INFORMATION!

Acolytehood. A time when a person is considered worse than the dust beneath your shoes. But it is an important time. Acolyte is the first stage in the journey of Sith to prove your worth to your superiors, to the galaxy and to yourself! But soon, there will come a time when you have run out of ideas on how to impress a potential Master, ideas to bring glory to your name, and ideas to save yourself from boredom. Well look no further, a new method of a RP opportunity as arrived! The Acolyte Task Board!

What is this?

There is a thread within the Archives (Both IC and OOC) that all Sith can access. It is for Apprentices, Neophytes, Household Sith, Lords and our Darth to put up a task that can be handled by Acolytes, and Acolytes alone.

What do I (Someone above Acolyte) do to set something like this up?

First step is for you to write up task in A NEW THREAD WITHIN THIS SUBFORUM. An example of the layout will soon follow. You will state how many Acolytes you want in this task, give a due date and see what the Acolytes do to achieve a Success in this task.

How do I (An Acolyte) sign up for this task?

Just as the Operations tab, you put your name down under the task you find appealing, and complete it with your fellow Acolytes, or alone if the task only requires one Acolyte.

What can a task being and not be?

The tasks can range from cleaning the floors, have Acolyte duel each other, or make one of them your foot rest while you sit! HOWEVER, this is not the place to order an Acolyte to kill another Acolyte nor anyone. This Acolyte Task Board has the goal to generate RP with our young hopeful students and to create stories! It is not a place to make people uncomfortable, or force people to do certain RP that they don't want too, or kill off characters just like that. Communication is key!

What happens after the task is completed?

Once the task is completed, I would kindly ask for the one who made the task, to write an evaluation report on what and how well or bad the Acolytes did in completing the task.

Example Template

Name: Kaer.

Title and Rank: Sith Kaer, Lorekeeper.

Task for Acolytes: I need two Acolytes to clean up the library when I am not around. Your goals are to ensure that the books are packed away in the allocated spots. The desks should not have dust on them, and to sweep the floor. Your task is to also ensure that no one brings food nor drink in my absence into my library."

Number of Acolytes needed: Two.

Due Date: A week as a test run.

Important Side Notes!

If you wish to jazz up your Task Request, by all means, go for it. But it is essential to have your character's name, their title and rank, what the task is, the number of Acolytes needed and the due date.

Any questions, comments, or concerns, please direct them to any member on the Guild Team!

If a Guild Team member disapproves your task, it can and will be removed from the thread, and that Guild Team Member will speak to you in PMs to help you remake your task.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
