Raid on Ord Siggat

#1
[Image: CLsfhGF.png]

Report: Raid on Ord Siggat
Attendants: Sith Tiwura, Apprentice Mos Kaleehi, Apprentice Vlorakaar Vipion, Acolyte Seranus Horuset

Summary: To accomodate the planned operations as initiated by Apprentice Xesh, our pillar required an increase of funds. What better way than to benefit from the Republic's loss. It was determined we would make a hit and run raid on the border world of Ord Siggat. An arid desert world. Scouting out a remote outpost in the wastes after observing a likely payroll transport having landed there for temporary holding we made it our mark. Our approach was veiled by use of my own vessel capable approaching undetected. Bringing a number of men to guard the ship and provide our extraction as needed.

We spread out to advance on the outpost in a manner less detectable with the cover of terrain and our available tools. I directed the apprentices to cooperate on one flank while I would do well enough on my own. There were clear signs of traffic and marks to suggest a recently used elevating plattform to ferry the payroll and other cargo by the outpost as we made it close enough. But our veiled approached allowed us to engage it with minimal guards without suspicion or forewarning. As the apprentices decided to jump their perimiter patrol I deployed a smokescreen to distract them further. With speed they were disposed of with ease and we concentrated on eliminating the gate watch.

We pressed on by slicing past their security systems breaching the outposts interior. On one end we discovered an armed squad holed up and fortified. As opposed to engage them and waste time an explosive was planted and rigged should they venture out of their hole. In the meantime the acolyte was designated to keep watch while the rest of us pressed on to find the payroll. We came upon unarmed workers and loading droids in their warehouse and I incentivized them to reroute and load up the payroll crates to the plattform. It was by then that the planted explosive triggered and the fortified hostiles were most likely killed as they did not engage. At that point we called in our transport to extract us and the payroll shipment as we grabbed the acolyte. On our ascent we dropped another explosive over the outpost to damage the structure and wipe out the witnesses or at the very least delay an alarm. With our objective achieved we returned to imperial space.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
