Mission


SITUATION

Sector: Remion Sector 
Planet: Norya IV 
Time: 08/06/29 ATC 01:30 Kaas Time

  1. Overall Situation:
    • The mission targets a Republic-sponsored insurgent group entrenched on Norya IV. Intelligence reports indicate that this group, posing as a local militia, receives significant support from the Republic. The Ministry of Intelligence suspects this front may conceal a larger operation, possibly involving Imperial double agents or serving as a trap to engage Imperial forces. Recent reconnaissance has identified key assets and weapon caches intended to support a nascent resistance movement. We want to disrupt and neutralize these threats before they can consolidate their position, preventing any future insurrections.
  2. Enemy:
    • Enemy forces include approximately 12 Republic-sponsored insurgents trained in guerrilla warfare. They are supported by local militia units familiar with the terrain and potentially hostile. Additionally, they possess a mix of weaponry sourced from Imperial, Republic, and locally-manufactured equipment. There is also an unidentified presence of additional enemy elements, which may include Republic Special Forces or covert operatives.
  3. Friendly Units:
    • The primary Imperial unit involved is the 882nd Special Reconnaissance Group. Their exact numbers are classified, but they are highly skilled in intelligence gathering and precision strikes. They will provide real-time reconnaissance, giving live feed observations and strategic support throughout the operation.
  4. Support Units:
    • No additional support units are allocated for this mission. All logistical and combat requirements must be fulfilled by the assigned primary units.


MISSION

Objective:
  • The primary objective is to DESTROY the enemy, seize any intelligence, and neutralize all hostile forces. KEEP IN MIND, due to the potential for enemy reinforcements, the combat window is limited.

Tasks:
  • Leviathan: 
  • Deployment: Deploy via drop ship to the designated Landing Zone (LZ).
  • Navigate: Use terrain, knowledge, and reconnaissance reports to find a suitable location to conduct the ambush.
  • Preparation: Utilise the time available to prepare the ambush using material granted and local materials from the terrain.
  • Attack: Execute an ambush on the enemy convoy using provided materials (AT Launchers, mines). Engage and defeat all enemy combatants in the area.
  • Seize: After neutralizing the enemy, secure and capture any survivors, IF there are any. Conduct a damage evaluation for intelligence gathering.
  • Extract: Return to EZ at Squad Leaders discretion. Transport is available constantly when requested.



EXECUTION


  1. Mission Objective:
    • Success is defined by the complete destruction of the enemy force. All enemy combatants must be neutralized, ensuring that the threat is entirely eliminated.
  2. Implementation Idea:
    • Leviathan will deploy via drop ship to the designated Landing Zone (LZ). Upon landing, they will use the intelligence from the reconnaissance team to navigate the terrain and set up an ambush on the enemy convoy. The goal is to maximize surprise and efficiency, ensuring swift and decisive action to DESTROY the enemy through an ambush.
  3. Guidelines:
    • Maintain continuous radio communication throughout the mission. Reconnaissance reports are to be relayed immediately and acted upon without delay. Engagements must be swift and lethal. Civilian interference is not a concern for this operation; focus solely on the elimination of the enemy.

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...
