You will go there and determine if this Vanguard can be of use to us, if there is treachery or you uncover evidence of sabotage or a sniff of double agency? My Lord,

We successfully arrived at the designated location on Scipio, a nightclub guarded by Muun security droids and populated by a variety of alien species, and proceeded to the designated meeting point. On our way in, Apprentice Thayne was stopped by a droid, who handed her a handbag containing a commlink and earpiece, through which she received the exact locations. Apprentice Thayne and I left Apprentices Grond and Neithyra to guard our approaches while we met with the Defector.

After having some pleasantries and introductions with false names, the Defector mentioned a potential Republic camp on Bnar, holding Imperial prisoners, of which the veracity has yet to be determined. The Defector had been looking around nervously at the security droids, and had picked a corner booth with full view of the bar, and partway through our conversation—a moment after they mentioned the Bnar camp, the Defector spotted an approaching security droid and pulled out a blaster before turning it on herself and shooting herself.

After the woman committed suicide, a group of men entered before more security droids arrived to secure the situation; these wore a Thought Shield and were awash in a sense of relief mixed with frustration. All of this leads me to believe that the Defector was either being pursued, that it was a trap, or a honeypot to plant an SIS agent in our intelligence infrastructure.

As a result, my Lord, Primary Objectives I and II were completed, and Secondary Objective I was rendered unnecessary.
