Use of The Alchemy Archive

#1
Alchemy Archives
What is left must not just be preserved, but studied, recovered and reclaimed,
for the old ways to be preserved
- Lord Sarias

Overview:
The alchemy archives is a sub-set of House Horuset's archives, kept separate and restricted only for those with access. Said access can only be granted by the Dark Lords, or Lord Sarias All files present, in particular those of a restricted nature, are heavily monitored to prevent the attempt of sharing files without permission, but also to keep access away for those not intended.

The reason for this security is the knowledge housed within - that of the ancient alchemical arts. Knowledge is sparse, and those who have the skill to tap into this even less so. In the archives, writings shall vary from relevant reports submitted to help gain experience or perspective in the handling and observation of Sithspawn, to the detailing of what materials are used for the construction of amulets, and more. As vast as the field is, one can find supporting documents to research, or what knowledge budding alchemists may come to have need of.

Even with the restrictions in place, however, there are some writings within restricted, only available for the Dark Lord and Head Alchemist, requiring permission to view it even for those with access to the archives. See more below.

Restriction Details
In the Alchemy Archives, two tiers of security exist - Entries with and without restricted access. Those without the additional layer of security may be accessed by anyone freely who has access to the archives. Restricted writings will, in contrast, require direct permission and will only be permitted access on a one-time basis - meaning a second viewing often will require permission again. Restricted writings will be marked as such on top of the file.

Attempts to make copies of any content in the archives will be logged and will require prior permission from the Head Alchemist, to prevent undeserving eyes or misuse of knowledge.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
