"As per the standards post operation, I give my report of events.
Given the time of our arrival we had only a short duration before the republic forces reached the planet, so we took on an actively aggressive stance in dealing with the pirates.
The engagement was quick and effective, Neophyte Evelyn and I taking charge on the raid while Apprentice Altiarx provided ranged support. She is of note in providing effective defense in critical moments. In the aftermath we discovered what the pirates were smuggling: Adrenals and Explosives.
Regrettably, our squad was ambushed; by Republic Commandos.
At this point we stalled for time as one of the pirates ships was being prepared for takeoff (Pvt.Hayden) as our escape. We achieved it so through feint terms of surrender and discussion... From it we were able to learn more of them, heavily armed as they were they boasted equal amount of dialogue (The Captain of the squad named Yugin).
Once prepared we escaped with the former ship in mention (another ship carried the rest of the cargo, unfortunately shot down). The pirates are dead, and we've taken a large portion of their supplies with us leaving the rest to be burned in the crash.
