ANX MINOR- Acolyte Task

#1
ANX MINOR- Acolyte Task

The familiar helmet known to be possessed by Sith Vipion appears over the holo, with the patterned visor showing occasional reflections from what is clearly a datapad held below as she reads...

"Welcome to our new home, the beautiful town of Mosila upon Anx Minor, our place to stay while we plunder this planet for every last resource that ITEC can gather. Our harbour, our sanctuary, our fort, one could say. Having baptized its roads with blood and claimed it in the name of the Empire, our next step is to understand what we are working with so that our soldiers, logistics and scientific staff, and those reading may prosper."

"I had an interesting talk with Acolyte Avaress about the infrastructure of the city of Mosila, which leads me to setting this task before you all. I require four individuals to survey the town's infrastructure. The power supply in building 16 is important- so is its water supply, sewer system, backup generator, and far more. Accompany a group of engineers and determine the state of its electrical grid, water and sewer systems, and the locations of importance. Find me maps, data, and relevant scientific staff. Identify points of weakness and where the infrastructure stretches out of the city walls.

"And be careful. The city is ours, but there are eyes everywhere, and they may not always be friendly."

"Keep your wits about you..."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view, leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided...*

Location: Anx Minor ((This one happens inside the city!))

Objective: In this task, there shall be three Objectives:
  • Find diagrams and blueprints of the city's Infrastructure.
  • Find the city's water supply.
  • Determine possible weak points within the city's water supply and electrical grid to be checked on more in-depth later.
  • Identify potential local professionals who can assist- but do not trust them with our secrets.
Timeframe: This must occur in the next few days. ((March 12, 13, 14))

As GM, you get to pick what day this will be on.
Estimated Party Size: At least two, but any who sign up may attend. One spot is reserved for Acolyte Avaress.

[Update]

There has been an investigative task from Sith Leive to confirm a theory. Apprentices Syllel, Charsette, and Varrixon (myself) are wishing to check the sewer tunnels for smuggling exits. Beforehand, any blueprints or information will aid in narrowing the search and lessening the amount of time down below - should nothing be found, it is fine, but should the theory prove correct, it will be invaluable information. Additionally, it may be found that the water supply is accessible from the sewers, and the Apprentice team is ready to move through.

For the assistance in this matter and understanding of the drafted help, I am personally offering to adjust the fit of the armor on the assisting Acolytes, to make it more suited and flexible to you. Additional opportunities will also open up for said Acolytes on projects in the future.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
