Operation Report: Falling Star III

Mission objectives:
- Ensure the safety of the scientific vessel during their task

Mission Participants:
Apprentice Zynn - lead
Apprentice Racta
Sergeant Kienix
Acolyte Araki

Status: Successful

Mission Progression:
We arrived in the intended sector where the crew began their scans. After a short few minutes we detected a target approaching us on the radar. I gave the command to jump away after hailing them yielded no response and they were approaching rapidly. They caught us in their tractor beam, followed by a boarding maneuver. Apprentice Racta stayed behind on the bridge to secure it. We had some losses on our side but fended off the boarding ultimately. We then decided to board their ship after we were still trapped by their tractor beam. On the way towards the bridge defensive turrets emerged, injuring the Acolyte non-lethal. The Sergeant quickly provided field-aid to the acolyte and we moved on. Opening the path towards the bridge we were engaged by two marksmen and two regular repeaters. I rushed the attackers step by step, with cover by Sergeant Kienix and took them out one by one. The Acolyte decided to take this unconventional time to rest and recover instead of assisting with the mission. We then turned off the tractor beam and returned to the ship which had finished its scans by that time and returned.

Additional Notes:
I commend Sergeant Kienix for his field-aid of a comrade and contribution towards the mission objective.
I recommend Acolyte Araki be given extra tutelage on behaviour in the field, the importance of mission objectives and general etiquette when on mission with superiors.
