Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"Subterfuge and discretion are two of the tools we as Sith use to maintain our dominance against the upstart Jedi and their failing Republic. During our thousand year long exile deep within our own homeworlds, our Empire grew quietly to rival that of the Republic and overcame it in a hammering blow as we struck out and retook Korriban and as  far as Sernpidal in the north and Tandankin in the south within a matter of galactic weeks.
Entire systems changed to our side and have remained loyal since, their governments knowing of our existence in one form or another and merely waiting for our return to the galaxy to show their true allegiance to the Sith and our Empire. Such is the way of galactic politics, where careful planning and sudden changes can leave old regimes reeling and ready to topple against the tide of the unexpected.
The planet of Belkadan was taken during the first weeks of the Great Galactic War alongside Sernpidal, and it's current Governor, Thon Brush, is the seventh to have held the post since that initial taking. Chatter has erupted of the Governor's intent to attempt to cede from the Empire and establish his own independent dominion with an armed security force to act as his army and privateers to act as his navy. The Governor is however well loved by the public on the planet due to how well the planet fared against the Eternal Empire and the immediate calling for his execution due to treason would see an open planetary revolt and him made into a martyr if successful. The Governor's planned successor, Sal Temt, shares none of the current Governor's notions of an independent Belkadan and sees the prosperity of Belkadan as a symptom of the prosperity of the Empire.
Sal Temt has organised for the Governor to be feasted at a high class restaurant on Belkadan and has likewise contacted the Horuset Powerbase to quietly see the Governor assassinated so that he may take the reigns of the planet and not see it attempt to cede from the Empire. Sal Temt has organised for a small group to replace the kitchen and serving staff, to facilitate the assassination. The more natural the assassination, the better, though the Governor being murdered and it pinned on a local group is acceptable.
The operation's objectives are simple, see Governor Thon Brush assassinated without your affiliated as Sith and Soldiers of the Sith Empire becoming known to the public of Belkadan. The more natural the assassination, the better for Belkadan, the stability of the Northern Territories and the higher the reward.
To those who see this operation complete, you will be rewarded proportional to your position in the Sith Empire.
An Imperial Soldier, will receive access to a single blaster or Vibroblade upgrade category of their choice alongside receiving a stipend of credits to do with as they wish. If secondary objectives are met, they will additionally receive a commendation that can be used towards promotion.
An Acolyte, will receive a singular piece of armour to protect a body part of their choice that they will wear under their robes with my personal and public confirmation that I permit such. If secondary objectives are met, they will receive a total of two pieces of armour.
Those who have passed the Acolyte Trials, will receive a reward of their own choosing."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: Belkadan - The backbone of the Northern Territories and one of the earliest victories of the Sith Empire

((OOCly: I'd recommend some form of high class cantina. There is a good one on Zakuul and others on Balmorra and even Dromund Kaas if an empty instance can be found.))

Belkadan: Belkadan is a forested world within a system of the same name. Taken through subterfuge at the very start of the Great Galactic War, Belkadan acted as one of the three 'big' morale victories in the Northern Territories alongside Sernpidal and Ruuria that saw the rapid expansion of the Sith Empire and the cutting off and decimation of a large Republic fleet that was in the sector at the time. Large cities dot the planet and it is only in recent months that there has been any disturbances on the planet since it's initial peaceful taking.

Thon Brush: Thon Brush is the current Governor of Belkadan and is beloved by the local populace. An ambition man, it has reached the ears of his successor and through them the Empire at large that the Governor plans to capitalise on their popularity to create their own independent state outside of the control of the larger galactic factions. Known for their kindness and focus on helping the common folks, Belkadan has become a system that has little to no slavery under Governor Brush's reign.

Sal Temt: Sal Temt is the expected successor of Thon Brush once Thon has served the remainder of their term or if the current Governor was to pass away. Loyal to the Sith Empire above all, Sal Temt sees the Empire as a shining beacon of what it means to be human in an Empire that he sees as becoming dominated by aliens. Humanocentric to the core, Sal sees slavery as a necessary evil for the betterment of a secure, prosperous society.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.

Primary Objective I: Assassinate Governor Thon Brush.

Primary Objective II: Do not have your allegiance to the Sith Empire become public knowledge.

Secondary Objective I: Assassinate Governor Thon Brush in a way that can be dismissed as natural causes or an unfortunate accident.

Time Frame: The team will have 21 days to complete the assignment before the opportunity to assassinate the Governor passes.
((The 14th of November will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of four to five will be necessary to complete the objectives of this mission.

((Four means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at four people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than five. Please find a GM from within this number.))

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
