Subject: Report on the Jester Flower

After thinking about how to write this report. I admit, I had been a little apprehensive in telling how I would have gone about testing the Jester Flower. However, something had occurred to me, I do not take charge nearly as much as I should, so let this be the first step of many.

The initial study was quite as I had expected, first looking for the differences between the Jester and Host via a digital representation as to see both in more detail. Nothing to be changed there, simple and to the point part of the study.

The second part, studying the Jester more personally in limited containment was, again, rather expected, as it gave the chance to look for the things that a digital image may not pick up on, the translucent sticky webbing, for example. This however is where I would change the approach, after finding out how to get the Jester to open it's 'mouth', I would have used something perhaps a little... Less, than the metal rod used, but it was none the less successful in doing as needed, stimulating the Jester enough to allow the extraction of it's digestive juices.

I believe I had reported on how I would have contained the fluids as the study went on, however, I will reiterate for the sake of a more formal report. I had suggested using the Jesters on 'stomach' lining as a buffer against the acid within the syringe itself, but as stated at the time there are multiple issues with such an endeavor. In lieu of this, I would have used a thicker, sturdier material as the acid itself seemed to eat through the glass, albeit at a slow pace. But a thicker glass vial seemed to do the job needed.

I would not have changed anything else about the study, and so ends my report. The experience was highly enlightening and informative, I hope to get the chance to do something like this again.
