SUBJECT: After Action Report, Operation:
INTRODUCTION:
The Warriors under the command of Apprentice Roi were sent to recover Imperial vehicles, that were recently lost after an engagement. The secondary objective, is if possible to lay waste to the Republic outpost.
Summary:
The following is regarding the incident itself.
Deployed Location: Drall Prime
Deployed Personnel:
-Apprentice Roi
-Apprentice Krassus
-Apprentice Ryam
-Apprentice Emlar
-Imperial Vehicle Operators
Duration of Deployment: [XX/XX/XX] - [XX/XX/XX]
Details of Operation:
The Warriors deployed at [XX/XX/XX] at a far off LZ. We then progressed on foot, lacking intel about enemy fortifications we scouted out a Republic FOB ahead of their main fortifications. They were considerably lax in their sentry duties, proceeding with an initial order of non-engagement and observation. We established two exfiltration routes in the case we met overwhelming opposition. We then sent Apprentice Emlar first, to close upon the camp, discovering a light presence of around 20 personnel. The Republic were relying on a central watchtower, to observe for incoming threats. We engaged and swiftly dispatched the presence at the camp, securing two fully active Scout Walkers, and several partially disassembled ones.
We split up, throughout the camp, we rescued a captured Imperial Solider, and interrogated a surviving Republic Solider, who died of their injuries before being able to be taken back as a POW. We used this to discern their current callsigns and call and response protocol. We disabled their turret network and drew a supporting squad, out from the base and into an ambush, intent to use them as a partial shield against sniper-fire from the main-base and to make them easier to dispatch with effective easy, allowing a sequential handling of the base, rather than facing their full force up at an incline. Myself and Apprentice Emlar, engaged up the hillside while Apprentice Krassus and Apprentice Ryam, were positioned towards our rear, to defend against redeploying Republic troops. Meanwhile calling up vehicle operators, to secure the Walkers.
Apprentice Emlar and myself defeated contacts on approach. Upon reaching the fortifications, we engaged overtop as the Republic withdrew in good order, a wise decision on the part of their commanders, they made an attempt at scorched earth to prevent the facility from falling into our hands. We remained focus on our objective, rather than the withdrawal of the Republic and secured, a Imperial Crawler Tank for collection, additionally, a Republic shuttle was seized, and once the Crawler was exfiltrated, used to lay waste to the rest of the facility, fulfilling the second objective, with all objectives achieved, we withdrew.
