Treasonous History - Report
Operation Team:
Apprentice Mayaz - Mission Lead
Sergeant 'Honour' Kienix
Sergeant 'Dagger' Mays
Corporal 'Immortal' Miriadas
Acolyte Elvarthane
Primary Objectives:
Secure the stolen Carved Tablets - COMPLETE
Leave no Jedi alive - PARTIALLY COMPLETE
Secondary Objectives:
Ensure the Tablets remain undamaged - COMPLETE
Do not incur a response from the Republic - COMPLETE
Priority Information:
The tablets were handed over to Lord Vipion; from there they'd go the vaults per her wish.
A possible Jedi Master by the name of "Orvius" had escaped. Orvius seemed greatly angered and, to put it plainly, didn't act like no Jedi I've ever heard of. They gave in to anger, willingly going to sacrifice the ship at a point. The reason I say "possible" is because the Jedi could've been a Padawan that buckled under the stress of their comrade's demise and simply gave in to anger, lying about who they are to try and intimidate us - this justifies their actions more than a Jedi Master doing it. However, it's not confirmed.
A General was mentioned, but no name was provided. None of the corpses appeared to have been the supposed General either.
The advanced scatterguns provided by the Horuset Stockpile - with approval for their usage by Lord Sarias - were returned.
Sergeant Mays took the Padawan's lightsaber and handed it over to the proper authorities when he returned to estate grounds.
Apprentice Mayaz holds the dual-saber of the Jedi Knight.
This vessel was heavily defended. I advise any future missions against this "Orvius" to be met with heavy firepower and high numbers.
Full Report:
After successfully managing to board the vessel, Apprentice Mayaz and the Acolyte casted out their senses for the location of the Jedi and the tablets - if they gave off anything to Force users. After confirming the location of a Jedi, and half a dozen soldiers, Apprentice Mayaz headed forth towards the engine room alongside the Assault Droid I brought over and Acolyte Elvarthane. However, upon the Apprentice and the Acolyte's engagement, Sergeant Mays swapped places with the Assault Droid to assist the Sith. Meanwhile, myself and the aforementioned Assault Droid, held the group's rear, keeping it covered. We'd of heard the sound of metallic marching approaching our location and so we prepared ourselves for the incoming masses.
The marchers closing in on my location would've been droids and I quickly disposed of two. However, they just kept coming. I lost count at ten, possibly twenty or higher tried to pass me. Evidently, they failed. I aimed to shoot the door's panel to cut off the seemingly never ending horde of droids. The blast door slid down around half way, struggling to close due to the droid corpses that littered the floors. Around this time, I managed to throw back a grenade before it went off, hitting more droids, when the door then shut - blocking off this route for now. Ordering the Assault Droid to hold here and watch the door - just in case - I make my way over to re-group with the Sith and Sergeant Mays.
Apprentice Mayaz was in quite the duel with a Jedi Knight - I practically couldn't see the duel due to how fast they were going. With some coordination, myself and Apprentice Mayaz managed to put down the Jedi for good - their death was ensured. Acolyte Elvarthane and Sergeant Mays were dealing with a dozen soldiers - that of which they made very quick work of together - before moving to another Jedi. A Jedi Padawan. After a small skirmish, the Jedi spotted their fallen master and broke down into tears, throwing their weapon aside and giving up, essentially. Per our objectives, the Padawan did not survive.
The ship's engine room had a bomb equipped inside it. Rather curious for the Jedi to insert. Acolyte Elvarthane did all she could to try and defuse the bomb. She'd not be able to, however, she bought us more precious time that we certainly needed and ensured it wouldn't blow now. As we made our exit from the engine room, three hulking droids with twin blasters broke through the door I had previously locked tight. The firepower myself and Sergeant Mays had seemed to do very little to the droids. The Assault Droid, suffering lethal blows from the new assailants, rushed towards the droids and suicide bombed it - defeating two. Sergeant Mays and Apprentice Mayaz then made quick work of the final droid before we continued on.
Continuing on deeper into the ship had us faced with E-web emplacements. I traded blows with one of said E-web emplacements, causing it to luckily take out another - clearing the way for us. Acolyte Elvatharne assisted me with moving from this point on as my cybernetic leg was damaged. As we neared the bridge, two tri-barrelled turrets opened fire upon Apprentice Mayaz. However, after devising a plan, all of us managed to destroy said turrets. We'd then make our approach to the bridge, expecting a showdown with a Jedi Master who had been mocking us, slandering us and threatening us - very unlike the Jedi to do so - we were ready, even as fatigued and injured as we were.
Upon the door opening, we'd of been met with a giant holo-projection of a Rancor that swept at Apprentice Mayaz. It of course phased through her as we then continued on. Acolyte Elvarthane pointed out that someone was in the vents. We can safely assume that this is the supposed Jedi Master Orvius. Apprentice Mayaz rushed in to grab the tablets as she alerted us to the ship's fate. The ship had two minutes before it was to explode. The ship was rigged with explosives. After a rapid retreat, we made it to our exfil point and only *just* managed to escape the ship before it bursted into flames.
A small star-ship jumped to lightspeed after the explosion - presumably Master Orvius.
Full Report End
Injuries:
Apprentice Mayaz - a few small lightsaber wounds, a small blaster wound. Nothing too damaging. She headed to the medbay to see to her injuries.
Sergeant Kienix - E-web bolt to the knee, cybernetic one at that. Neophyte Nivalis sought to repairing it once I was on estate grounds.
Note:
I want to state that everyone who deployed on this mission should be given the appropriate praise as they deserve and rewards given as superiors see fit. From Apprentice to Acolyte, to my fellow Sergeant and myself - we were up against tremendous odds, but we pulled through. None of us wouldn't have been able to complete this mission without the other. The sheer numbers, the variety of the enemy we faced is something I'd consider worthy of the Dark Lord's time and ability rather then her subordinates. All in all, it was a hard fought victory and well-earned by everyone involved.
