My lord, I am pleased to report our success in securing the allegiance and service of the former Imperial contingent, the Hounds of Polus.

Under the command of Apprentice Agran, myself and Apprentice Neithyra made our way to rendezvous with the contingent's captain at their makeshift headquarters on Helska.

A rather brief discussion followed between Apprentice Agran and the captain, which focused on appeals to the glory of Imperial service and the present shabbiness and low quality of the contingent's current arrangements. The Captain accordingly found the possibility of renewed honorable service under House Horuset rather agreeable but still desired our assistance in leaving their former home a better place than they found it.

While Apprentice Neithyra stayed to keep their safehouse secure, Apprentice Agran and myself, along with the captain and a handful of his men went to patrol the streets to clear out a local alien gang. After a brief encounter with the gang's leader, battle ensured during which the criminal commander was swiftly cut down with only minor injuries sustained.

It is worth noting that the captain of the Imperial contingent himself nearly perished from the blast of a thermal detonator but for the timely rescue I had managed through the force.

The the favor granted and the respect of the soldiers acquired through demonstrations of skill we finalized the arrangements for them to be transferred to service under yourself, my lord.
