Operation: Fever

#6
From: Apprentice Thanagal
To: Lord Andnoa
CC: Apprentice Cadeon, Apprentice Vellis, Apprentice Leiyr, Apprentice Xir
Subject: Mission Report

My lord,

I myself joined this operation as a last minute addition due to necessities of manpower. Myself, Apprentice Cadeon and Apprentice Leiyr deployed to Quesh and quickly joined up with the baiting convoy. Concealing ourselves in the storage compartment of one of the vehicles we headed off along the standard venom delivery root.
As expected we were ambushed along the way by the rebel forces, our escort perished rather quickly, most before we even got the chance to emerge. Upon engaging the enemy we quickly gripped and captured one of the fighters, pulling him into our compartment for interrogation by myself while the others dealt with the remaining fighters. A rather quick affair I'd acquired the information of their base of operations with relative ease, similarly to the ease with which they were dispatched given how outmatched they were. The two apprentices were thorough in making sure only a few would manage to make their escape.
At this point we were joined by Apprentice Xir as we made our way to their base camp within one of the local caves in between the canyons of Quesh. Within it was through the keen senses of Apprentice Leiyr we were able to avoid many of the traps laid out for us. The main force within assaulted us midway into the cave, exploiting their control of the cavern's lighting network to disorient us we were nonetheless quick in dispatching them aswell.

Finally we reached the end where the last remaining rebel was in the middle of destroying documents and datapads all gathered from Republic equipment crates. Upon our entrance he rather quickly moved to kill himself to avoid capture though Apprentice Cadeon was quick enough to pull away his blaster before successfully capturing the man himself. I managed to secure one partially burned datapad from the bonfire of intelligence we found inside, both are presented to you my lord accordingly.

The operation was accordingly in essence a near total success, managing to essentially wipe out the rebel group and securing minimal although potentially substantial information on their ties to the Republic.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
