The purpose of the Preserver records is to catalogue matters of significance to the Sith, whether they are objects or sites, that are of cultural and historical importance. Stored within them are documentations of artefacts and sites that offer insight into the Sith of old. They serve to provide knowledge and guidance to the present and future generations of Sith, to enhance their understanding and perspective of the heart of the traditions and culture that form our identity.
