Operation: Beats of the Wings

Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

*Attached to the file would be a prerecorded voicemessage, which would play once it was selected. Only the calm yet authorative voice of Sith Zynn was heard, and a picture was attached in a file which was accesible to the user. It displayed two winged creatures with long beaks, ridden by armored figures with long cloaks. Both of them held some kind of staff.* ''For some time I had the desire to obtain winged mounts, strong enough to carry a fully armored Sith Pureblood or Imperial Soldier. Such a beast would be the Dactillion; a Raptavian with a big wingspan, which is yet small enough to fit in most transportships. They are found on Utapau and ridden by their native Pau'an warriors. Now I wish to have at least two creatures of each gender not related to each other for breeding purposes. Utapau is littered by deep sinkholes, where they build their nests in giant subterranean chambers. The group will be provided a shuttle small enough to enter these chambers. Steal eggs or hatchlings of two diffirent nests and distract or kill the parents. Now with eggs, depicting the gender is a gamble ofcourse. Four Beastmasters' Marines will be deployed alongside you with cages and incubators for the hatchlings and/or eggs, with enough space to house at least ten of each. For the Empire.

Beats Of The Wings

Operation Party:
Apprentice Tenacitious - ML
Apprentice Vlorakaar Vipion
Apprentice Xulia Horuset
Sergeant 'Honour' Kienix

Report:
Upon touch down, we followed the lead of Apprentices Vipion and Horuset through the terrain. We'd eventually stumble across multiple Varactyls in the area grazing when they were then suddenly attacked by a group of Dactillions, attacked viciously. Most, if not all, were gone within seconds. The team then attempted to follow the creatures back to a potential nest but it proved too difficult with how fast they were moving and the distance already between us.

Instead, we kept on the move until the Apprentices discovered what seemed to be a very freshly built nest, from what I could deduce from it at least. There was a plethora of eggs inside. The team got to rounding them up before Apprentice Vipion noted something above us. It turned out to be another nest. A very large nest and a very large nest that was certainly occupied. After having marines, and Apprentice Horuset, load as many eggs as possible, the creatures began to attack.

There were a lot of them and that's probably an understatement to be truthful. I believe I can recall around three adult Dactillions present in the nest. The first of which was killed by both Apprentice Vipion and Horuset, but the other two let the entire swarm out on us. It got to the point where Apprentice Tenacitious, after I tried to flash the swarm to give us some breathing room, ordered the marines to fire a salvo towards the cliffs, to both target the adults and collapse it on them all.

We then made our escape, narrowly avoiding being crushed, as the Apprentices recovered three of the stunned creatures. Whether they're related or not would require DNA testing. However, the final adult Dactillion refused to let us go freely. It, after taking a thermal head on, unfortunately killed Apprentice Tenacitious' Maalraas alongside a marine. It took using the shuttle's blasters to put it down for good. An incubator was damaged, alongside only five of the eggs being in tact.

These creatures were, to put it lightly, extreme. Unfortunately, this was the best we could pull together.

- Three Juvenile Dactillions recovered; the creatures were sent to receive veterinary aid and are pending DNA tests to determine whether or not they're related; two females, one male
- Five Eggs were recovered from the same nest
- Apprentice Tenacitious' Maalraas was killed
- A Marine was killed
- An Incubator was damaged

- Sergeant Kienix

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
