"Our reach across the Northern Territories is vast, and the Empire’s interest in extending it further remains a sensible priority. However, expansion alone is insufficient without a parallel investment in the worlds that can be shaped to serve with greater efficiency. Ferron, within its homonymous system, stands as one such case- a planet where development has already begun under the enlightened guidance of Lord Saltaeon's medical facility, with the future prospect of a new space port taking form.
To reinforce this effort, a suitable location has been identified on one of Ferron’s equatorial islands- a small, tropical landmass marked by less dense jungle, stable weather and natural coastal access. Unlike the harsh southern pole, this region offers a far more manageable environment for sustained development. As such, through a controlled clearing of local wildlife, this site presents an optimal foundation for the construction of an Ore Refinery- one designed to process not only Ferron’s raw output but also external imports.
The conversion into refined ingots for export would establish Ferron as a node of industrial value rather than mere extraction, generating employment, stabilizing the local economy and ultimately aligning the planet more firmly with Imperial interests. Your task is as simple as it is straightforward: make landfall, cull the local wildlife- composed of mostly overgrown toads and equally gigantic lizards, ensure there are no structural or environmental flaws. Then plant an Imperial beacon to formally mark the location so it can be readily identified and claimed for subsequent development.
