Sphere of Doctrine

Let all know and reckon, the decrees laid out herein are the will of Lord Tutki, Pentarch of Doctrine.
No other prior writ from lesser source holds priority.

The Pentarchy is built upon the recognition that all must play their part. That War is persecuted, that Stagnation is evaded and Advancement continued. That we are given insight in the enemy and that growth continues. All these tasks are crucial to the survival of the Powerbase, yet there lies a danger within. The Danger of complacency and laziness, the Danger of compromise and modulation. For that reason, the Dark Lord in her Wisdom created the Sphere of Doctrine.

Doctrine is, uniquely, deeply concerned with the internal aspects of the Powerbase. Of conduct and method over outcome. It is the remit of Doctrine to test the other Pentarchs and their underlings to assure they do not succumb to the predations of Heresy and the weakness of the Ancient Enemy. Yet that is not our only purpose. So too are we tasked with the preservation of what was, and its continuation. The Empire rose upon the wings of the Sith Culture, empowered by its tenets and shaped by its cultural norms. All the Empire builds is an echo of the great works of the ancients. Doctrine must continue to study the old so that it may be preserved, and promote the learning of what has been preserved so it may be propagated, that the galaxy may ever know the glory of the Sith.

Primary Duties
  • To impose the will of the Pentarch of Doctrine, administering and enforcing Sith orthodoxy within the Horuset Powerbase, ensuring all assets and members conform to the tenets of tradition.
  • Preservation and reinforcement of Sith culture, doctrine, and hierarchy, building upon the foundations of strength already established and stamping out the rot within.
  • To purge heresy, subversion, and the taint of the Light wherever they are found, securing the Powerbase against corruption from within and without.
  • Surveillance of the Powerbase and its holdings, sourcing out ideological weakness, deviation, ideological decay and ensuring the purity of loyalty and purpose answering such failings with correction or destruction.
  • Expansion of Doctrine’s reach, ever-seeking opportunities to strengthen the Powerbase’s dominion in thought and practice.

"Ever since King Adas bore our ancient kin to the stars upon the engines of the vile occupiers have the Sith shown their superiority. The Jen'Jidaii that found our kin assimilated into our culture, and expanded upon our ways. So clear is the superiority of the Pure Blood of the children of Korriban, that the ancient enemy feared it and attempted its total destruction. They failed, and so they must ever suffer for their transgression."
-
Lord Tutki, Pentarch of Doctrine.

Internal Structure
In past incarnations, the Sphere of Doctrine has seen a variety of structures, knowing smaller internal spheres, pillars and more. No longer, for these structures were ever only conducive to neglect and complacency. No longer. Doctrine shall have no empty seats, no tasks that go undone for the absence of one to do them. Pillars can only hold up a roof if they all support together. A pillar absent weakens the whole edifice.

As such, Doctrine will be divided into two wings within roles are divided, and nor role shall exist that is not held by a qualified servant of the sphere. There shall be the Wing of Preservation and the Wing of Propagation. The Wing of Preservation shall look to the past, learn its lessons and safeguard its treasures. The wing of Propagation will look to the future, and ensure it is shaped by the tenets of tradition. Together, the wings shall shape the present.
Positions in this Doctrine begin with those ordained by the Dark Lord's edicts, which must exist as a matter of course. Further positions are shaped by the members of the sphere subject to the confirmation of the Pentarch. A sith must carve out their own existence, and it may not be done lightly. Should one wish to convince the Pentarch of the need for a position, they must overcome challenge and conflict. If their position is in conflict with an existing one, they must overcome the holder of that position, or become subject to them. Thus will be recreated the ideal: The pyramid of power, as the Powerbase and the Sith order and the very Empire itself.

Positions:
Pentarch of Doctrine
The Pentarch of Doctrine commands the Sphere with absolute authority. Tasked with maintaining the homogeneity and integrity of Sith culture, doctrine, and assets, the Pentarch protects the Powerbase from heresy, subversion, and Light incursions. Through strict control of the arts, knowledge, and traditions of the Sith Order, the Pentarch ensures that the hierarchy is respected and that the doctrine of the Horuset Powerbase is enforced without compromise.
Current Pentarch of Doctrine: Lord Tutki

Shatajir of Doctrine
Serving under the Pentarch of Doctrine, the Shatajir (“Heir”) is designated as their chosen successor, a position of both honour and trial. The Shatajir must embody the tenets of Sith orthodoxy, demonstrating not only loyalty and strength but also mastery of doctrine and the ability to impose it upon others.
The Shatajir may be commanded to oversee particular areas of the Sphere — be it instruction, the rooting out of heresy, or the enforcement of tradition — acting in the Pentarch’s name when so ordered. Their authority is significant but conditional, for it exists only so long as they prove themselves worthy of inheritance. Should they falter or be found wanting, the title of Shatajir is forfeit, and another will rise to claim it; as is our way.
Current Shatajir: None

Wing of Preservation:
Lorekeeper
The Lorekeeper is charged with the preservation, instruction, and dissemination of doctrine within the Sphere. Overseeing the acolyte pool and junior apprentices as the official overseer of the Sphere, they maintain the integrity of ideological knowledge, ensure the proper indoctrination of new members, and serve as the principal doctrinal resource for the Pillars. The Lorekeeper also has the ability to appoint and command Scribes, a role dedicated to documentation, archival, and doctrinal enforcement; whilst maintaining the Horuset Archives.

Current Lorekeeper: Lord Tutki

Wing of Propagation:

Perceptor
The Perceptor is Doctrine's eyes within. It is the Perceptor's task to watch the Powerbase closely and detect any and all transgressions against the edicts of the Powerbase. They are to be inquisitive and observant, attuned to the political landscape and subtle in their ways. The Perceptor will not act alone to correct an issue, rather, that is a collective task of the Sphere of Doctrine entire, so that none may doubt the judgement.

Current Perceptor: Apprentice Kyrila Leiyr

Assets of Doctrine

Blackstone Quarry & Labour Force
On Ziost, Doctrine maintains direct control over the Blackstone Quarries, where the planet’s unique volcanic stone is mined and processed. Blackstone is prized for its density, resilience, and the way it resonates with dark side rituals; it is the chosen material for fortifications, monuments, and instruments of doctrine.

The quarries are manned by the Blackstone Labour Force — a body of autonomous workers, overseen by an orbital sith station. Labour is relentless. The workforce is driven until it breaks, then replenished without hesitation.

Stone hewn from Ziost flows directly into the hands of Doctrine: used to raise temples in the ancient style, reinforce strongholds, and provide materials for the war machine of Horuset. Each block is a testament to the Sphere’s dominion, quarried by the broken and assembled into legacies of permanence.

Stulvusaga
Stulvusaga is an ancient city of the Sith, raised on Korriban in the age before the Dark Jedi first came to the Empire. Its halls and walls were cut not from the soil of Korriban itself, but from Blackstone quarried on Ziost and borne across the stars. In this, the city embodies the unity of the Sith worlds: Korriban, the grave and cradle of the people, bound to Ziost, the heart of endurance and strength.

Carved from this eternal stone, Stulvusaga endures as a monument to the will of the ancients. Its structures defy time, storms, and invaders alike, their weight a constant reminder that the Sith did not merely inherit tradition — they forged it, block by block, through conquest and blood.

For the Sphere of Doctrine, Stulvusaga is both relic and arsenal. It stands as a sanctuary of orthodoxy, a fortress of Purifiers, and a testament to the endurance of true Sith tradition. Its Blackstone walls house rituals, trials, and the records of power — ensuring that those who walk its avenues are never permitted to forget that the Sith endure not through change, but through permanence carved in stone.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
