Report: Optimizing Report and Scouting of S-37 [War Campaign on Orsus]

#1
Subject: Optimizing Report and Scouting of S-37
Sector Involved: S-1, S-2, S-38 and S-37
Objectives:
  • Investigate our currently held sectors nearest the base to look for weaknesses in placed structures, walls and potential blindspots.
  • Mark locations for increased security, primarily in sector S-38 and where S-37's wall is visible from Sector S-2. In addition to a few points towards S-3.
  • Use camouflaged wingmaws to assist in arial reconnaissance of claimed areas and S-37.

Participants:
Apprentice Aregra Kalkoran, Acolyte Teran, Acolyte Dalia

Though we hold areas claimed and held secure, to ensure their security especially with multiple foes to face from many directions is crucial. With his track record of having scouted vantage points in a prior task, Acolyte Teran was assigned monitoring any unused, damaged or too risky placements for sniper nests. In addition, placement of camaras was to be found, to not see S-5's situation repeated and provide us crucial minutes to respond quicker.

The alien was put to searching for useful salvage, inspect walls and the potential appearance of local, or escaped, fauna to utilize for later missions.

Inspection of S-2, S-1 and S-38 progressed without meeting resistance, making it an opportune time to see the individual tasks preformed while I attended to seeing the wingmaws make use of roofs, buildings and lower flight areas to micmic natural scavenging behavior. Required locations and salvage of use was marked.

Upon scouting S-37, there were no initial discovery of our actions, as I ensured the wingmaws' movements were held slowed and deliberate. Situating one in a found blindspot on a western building, the other circled high above the main street with occasional pauses for 'rest'. The findings are documented below, alongside copies of recordings from the wingmaws.

The most noteable find was the confimation the republic already had moved to reinforce their placement there, moving veichles and fire times towards the front along the main road. Of most note was the presence of two jedi, one whom held senses greater than one usually finds in their ranks. Their attempt to capture the wingmaw failed against my control, however their presence so close to S-5 will limit the possibility to intrude directly unless one is skilled in lessening one's presence for long periods of time.

I would advice to potentially attempt placing a camara on the blindspot of the western building, as it permits a clear view of the northern S-37 sector, alongside portions of the main road near its center.

---Below, attached recordings taken from two sources displays arial pictures of the mentioned sectors, including S-37 and how the republic has seemingly focused on reinforcing the main road. Marked areas of use would follow as well, including where salvage had been recovered.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
