Zarrious - Holo-diary Entry :: Volumn 1 - Conflicted

#1
There would be no physical representation if the man of which spoke into the holocom, only the gruff, darkened voice of which shrouded around it and into it. Though for the first few moments, all that could be heard is a grunt of discomfort, followed by the tapping against metal- It echoed through a hollow room.

"Oh Typhojem... My Lord Typhojem... Forgive me for all the troubles I have placed upon thee. For my mind is conflicted with illusions granted on your behalf. You would allow me to suffer beyond the host of my ambition? The cruel undertaker of my aspirations? For what have I done to deserve such judgement? Such... Atrocity? Lord forgive me, but you conflict my mind."

The man allowed a deep, throat infused grunt to spurt from his form and the sound of banging against a metallic floor followed sharply - of which intruded the conversation within the holocom. It followed by a drawn out sigh of a man whom was tired and frustrated.

"I am patient Lord... So, so patient. It is my most admirable traits, do you not agree my Lord? For you have shared your with me, your must humbled and cherishing of servants. I am deserving of your power, I truly am. But! I digress, Lord. For I am not here to plead for your forgiveness, but to seek answers on the surrounding farce that eludes me. Why am I here? In such rabbles, when in reality I can search for greater purpose? Greater power?"

He sighed once again, but then once more tapping on a metallic structure arose throughout the holocom. The man gasped and then there was yet another bang. The holocom would buzz louder and louder for many moments. But it then stopped in it's entirety.

"You're right, Lord... You are so wise, and you are so right. I must serve you- I have always served you. From the first encounter of Korriban with my brother- Until now. I have found you and you have provided me with meaning. I am to serve you by protecting those whom you deem of your value? It is so obvious. But! You betrayed me? You allowed the squabbling farce t-... I see now. It is all clear! The events happened in that particular order for a reason! You're so enlightening... So generous, Lord."

The darkened voice of the man would cackle loudly and for but a short period of time, the holocom picked it up in a echoed manner as the hum returned for the moment after.

"You have enlightened me once more, Lord... Yet- There is still conflicted thoughts that roam my vast and great mind. I suppose I can't know everything... Yet- I know more than the rest of the vermin that roams these halls... The undeserving of power, the neglected fabrications of these great walls that you have provided me. They're but blind insects that reside within a families folly! Yet - You put me under one deserving, isn't that right? The -only- one deserving. But which one is the more deserving? I know- I know, Lord! Stop pressuring me! I well and truly know..."

The hum would echo forth into the holocom once again, it gets much more louder than ever before. Though- The holocom at that point simply seizes. There is nothing.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
