Doctrine Archives - Apprentice Xulia Horuset
Subject: Incident Report - Derelict Vessel near Dromund Fels

The operation was sanctioned for the retrieval of encrypted Doctrine data fragments from a derelict vessel recently detected in orbit of one of Dromund Fels’ outer moons. Preliminary scans reported unstable energy readings and several unidentified life-form signatures within the hull. The ship’s systems were in disarray, with life-support partially functional, power distribution erratic, and structural integrity compromised beyond safe thresholds.

Visual inspection confirmed that the derelict had not remained adrift long enough for significant decay. The corridors were largely intact, though lighting was intermittent, and the air carried a residual charge suggestive of sustained electrical discharge. No response was received to repeated hails. Docking access was achieved through a secondary maintenance port on the vessel’s underside.
Two acolytes were deployed: Acolyte Alicia and Acolyte Dathryn. Upon boarding, the pair advanced through a narrow, unlit corridor containing multiple transport crates marked for the conveyance of biological specimens. No active containment fields were detected, and several crates had been breached from within.

Beyond the corridor lay the vessel’s Exhibition Hall, a gallery-like chamber displaying research apparatus and containment equipment. It was here that Acolyte Dathryn sustained injuries following initial contact with [REDACTED]. His condition declined rapidly, presenting extensive electrical trauma and multiple puncture lacerations along the upper torso. He was immediately evacuated to the extraction point for stabilization. His protective layers exhibited burn scoring and tearing consistent with energy absorption or discharge.

Acolyte Alicia continued onwards with the mission. She moved carefully through the Cargo Hold, encountering [REDACTED] once more. Employing caution and stealth, she avoided direct contact, navigating the compromised corridors while noting structural damage and sporadic power surges. Progressing towards the bridge, she located and secured the required Datachit, completing the primary objective. Shortly thereafter, reactor instability propagated throughout the vessel, producing multiple violent explosions and electrical discharges. The deteriorating conditions necessitated immediate evacuation, and the acolyte was forced to exit through the main hangar to avoid being caught in the destruction.

Shortly after her departure, telemetry recorded cascading containment failures throughout the vessel. Core destabilization culminated in a rapid internal collapse, disintegrating the central hull. No substantial wreckage or biological residue remained upon later scanning, and the vessel’s energy signature dissipated entirely within minutes.

The recovered data fragment has been secured within Doctrine containment for decryption and evaluation. Preliminary analysis indicates the presence of corrupted files utilizing encryption patterns foreign to Imperial and Republic systems alike. It remains undetermined whether this was the result of environmental degradation or intentional obfuscation.

The classification of the entities encountered aboard the vessel, and the cause of the corruption affecting its systems, remain under restricted review. All records pertaining to [REDACTED] are sealed pending further confirmation from higher Doctrine oversight.

Filed for archival record.
Out from there, we emerged topside. Behind enemy lines, and approaching the rear of the artillery cannons and the emplacements of the regiment's camp. A shock and awe approach - utilizing our very small force, we ushered in with a decisive onslaught of Force barrages and maimings, prioritizing brutalization to sow disarray and terror in the enemy forces and prevent ourselves from being overwhelmed should they manage to muster a cohesive reaction. This caused disarray in the crews and the watchers, letting us cut through them. With the artillery cannons themselves now bared to us, I repositioned the remainder of the ammunition stockpiles closer to the guns, and once we were a short distance away, I cast a blast that sanitized the position of any trace of their existence. Subject: Mission Report: Nam'ta - Political Refugees - Fest
--------

Objective: Locate and eliminate political refugees from Nam'ta

Status: Success

Summary:

Phase 1 - Deployment:

Deployed to Fest via the shuttle provided with slicing equipment, standard weaponry and Tyuk toxin. An Ensign was expecting my arrival and provided directions to where the bunker was suspected to be, providing additional intelligence that it was concealed within another structure. The Ensign was ordered to clear the surrounding area and provide 3 no. charges and a remote detonator, to which he obliged.

Phase 2 - Infiltration:

Using cover of darkness and an SFG where necessary The Republic's outer defences. The settlement was heavily damaged with signs of power grid failure in sections of the district. A cantina with two guards was identified, a likely target. The outer guards were bypassed via air purification vents and the slicing of an I internal terminal provided access to a camera feed, identifying two further guards outside of an elevator marked 'storage'. Camera and alarm systems were deactivated from this terminal. With the camera feed set onto a loop.

Phase 3 - Execution:
Entering striking distance of the guards with an SFG it was easy to dispatch without raising alarm. Allowing access to the maintenance room where the Tyuk toxin could be applied to the air purification unit. The elevator to the bunker was locked but emergency access hatches were not, enabling access below. The scene was of a cobbled together life day celebration with the victims succumbing to the Tyuk toxins. The throats of all but one were slit with the obvious leader's wrists being cut instead. A red mantra written on the wall in blood [redaction]. The Refugees will show no signs of trouble to those who find them.

Phase 4 - Exfiltration:
Two droids were inside the bunker, both were destroyed and had their memories wiped. Upon passing the final defensive line three charges were placed at key points.

The detonator was given to the Ensign with orders to claim the explosives as his own action. To detonate them in three rotations time, on life day itself, and launch an assault.

The timing will ensure the discovery of the bunker, evidencing the Republic's failure to protect those in its charge and allow a swift strike to further demoralise the region.
Summary:
With little to no available information in the archives on Jagarth VII we landed blind. The world is more barren and desolate on the surface appearances than say our ancient tomb world of Korriban. We managed to land in a clearing by a mount with a cave.

Inside the cave I had apprentice Winter take several samples of the local flora. Vines, glowing fungus and water. We encountered blind mammals in the cave system. Seemingly harmless with a diet of fruits as far that we saw. Eventually, as we progressed far enough into the system we uncovered more open caverns housing remains of ancient ruins. Solid and unnatural rock. I made use of my abilities and I had a slight premonition. A sight, seeing fleeing Sith Purebloods. Venturing deeper into the caves of Jagarth and building homes like these.

As the tunnels progressed we ventured onward into a vast open space in the mountain we were ambushed by a volley of arrows but our skills held them off. I could hear a very strange accent of Sith. It was hard to make out. Closer to low Sith. I had Winter take an arrow for further sampling. After this encounter, they all fled before we saw them. Afterwards, we progressed on to a platform from which we could make out a pair of twin towers. One of these were not sealed and I ventured inside. On the walls, I saw ornate decorations depicting ancient histories which I believe to be some siths escape after the great hyperspace war. Descending into the caverns of the mountain and finally an armored-clad individual standing above them. Like a ruler or guardian, I summarized.

Past the towers, there was a long bridge and we finally made contact. Like a deformed reflection of our ancestors, they were armed with bows. Golden eyes like ours but their skin was a mixture of grey and blue. Awful. Latom and I pulled down our hoods to show our pureblood faces as we made contact. Apparently, we were on their hunting grounds. I gave my name as Tiwura of the Vipion line and told in brief of our Empire as they told me of their ruler, Vartax, Lord of the deep, the blood father, he-in-the-dark, Gord of the Godlost and King of the Valzesine. He had ruled for generations they said, so he may be dangerous like Vitiate. No doubt the armoured man in the images. We could not get an audience today but the next time we were to meet their underlord. For now, I recommend the strictest secrecy regarding Jagarth VII.
The Sphere deployed on Aefao to investigate a disturbance - a small outpost, an information relay centre had gone dark. The cause for concern came from the fact that highly-encrypted communications were intercepted in the area shortly before the blackout.

Our force was split into two - myself, posing as the late Lord Ivekus, and Sith Suyni veiled as an Apprentice. The two of us moved in on land after landing a shuttle some ways away, heading directly for one of the outpost entrances. We came upon a nervous gathering of Aefans posing as imperial sentries. While I probed them for information, they were betrayed by their emotions and thoughts: anxious, fretful and panicking that we were interrupting a plan. Our presence was not a variable they had considered. While they scattered and scrambled to fetch their 'commanding officer', I broadcasted my findings to Sith Suyni telepathically, and her character of an 'Apprentice' was dismissed to the side to contact a fictional imperial persona -- feeding back what we saw and coordinating it with our other half of the group: Sith Tiwura and his Disciples of Fear. They infiltrated covertly separately from us, sneaking in through the back of the installation and observing, trailing and scouting the outpost while panic set it. Another Aefan was brought to me, seemingly a leader of this group, posing as a Captain of the local PDF. In the meantime, the Pillar of Fear had seized the central building and intercepted an encoded broadcast before it could be sent out: cutting it short and retrieving the datachit, while dispatching the insurgent group. The imperial-loyalists Aefans that had survived were bound and taken hostage, they have since been liberated.
Coordinating with this push into the communications hub, myself and Sith Suyni spurred into action, neutralizing the Captain and subduing him for later interrogation, while slaying the rest.

Our identity as members of the Horuset Powerbase has not been revealed, and we have retrieved two captives from the insurgents for processing, as well as an encrypted chit.
The Pillar of Fear is the body within the Sphere of Doctrine that embodies the terror experienced by the enemies of the Sith. Their duties are perhaps the most overtly aggressive of the Sphere, but they must be carried out always with subtlety and creativity. A blunt tool will not be permitted to rise above the most basal of ranks within the Pillar of Fear. While the Pillar's responsibilities remain broad and nebulous in order to not overly restrict them, the core of their duties are as such; they must strike terror into the hearts of those who oppose the Empire - Jedi in particular; using fear tactics and terrorism, waging war upon morale, striking at key ideological targets and inflicting sabotage upon their foes. They are also responsible for the elimination of key targets via assassination and kidnapping, as well as the cultivation of skills in torture and information extraction. They are particularly likely to collaborate with the Spheres of Insight and War.
The Pillar of Culture is the body within the Sphere of Doctrine that researches and protects the ancient ways of the Sith.
